Day 26: Saddest death.

Mufasa's death in the Lion King....especially when Simba finds his body. I cried so hard at this part in the movie. Heck, looking at this picture makes me want to cry all over again. :(

When Wendy and Peter are standing on Big Ben, and he says this:

There's just something so magical about those words to me. And since I consider Disney World my Neverland, I always say this before we head down there. And in 6 weeks, I'll once again be heading to the second star on the right, and straight on till morning! :)

Disney Life Lesson #1

Disney movies are great ways to teach important life lessons to kids. I came across this picture from "The Lion King" the other day, and I believe it's a great example of one of those lessons.

Day 19: Your least favorite Pixar film.

Um, I like them all. But if I have to pick my least favorite, I guess I'll go with this one.

 And this is mainly because I'm not a fan of bugs. But I still like to watch this movie.

Jeez...I honestly can't say that I don't like a Pixar film.

Day 18: Your favorite Pixar film.

I love Monsters, Inc! It's so funny and cute. Plus, the little girl, Boo, reminds me of my cousin. She's 3 years younger than me, and when this movie came out, she looked a lot like Boo. In fact, my cousin's nickname (even before this movie came out) was Boo. So this movie has had a special place in my family's heart since it came out. :)

Day 17: Your least favorite classic.

I've only seen this movie once, when I was little. So I don't remember a whole bunch about it, but I do remember that it made me cry. Even thinking about this movie makes me sad. :(

Sorry this wasn't posted this morning. I went out of town yesterday, and I didn't have time to update the blog this morning. I'm home now, so the rest of my countdown should be done in the mornings. :)

Day 15: The first Disney movie I saw.

My mother tells me that it was "The Little Mermaid." It came out the year after I was born, so I don't really remember this. But I'll take my mom's word for it. :p

Day 12: Your favorite villain song.

"Savages" from Pocahontas is a classic example of how 2 groups of people completely misunderstand each other just because they are different. I think this is one "villain" song where the audience can actually learn something, not just about the characters in the movie, but about society.

"You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!" from Peter Pan! I am seriously considering having this song played at my funeral when I die. I think it would be appropriate. :p

Hades. He's hilarious. And I love to laugh. Villains who make me laugh are the best. :)
