Day 19!

Day 19: A picture of something in the parks that deserves more attention.

This is the education major in me coming out, but I think people should pay more attention to the fact that the parks are very educational. I think most people realize how you can learn in Epcot and Animal Kingdom, but not Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is seen as the huge playground, which it is, but it's also so much more. Stop by Liberty Square or Frontierland and really pay attention to what's going on in those lands (and I don't mean the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad). Take time to notice the replica of the Liberty Bell and the Hall of Presidents. Pay attention to the the way the lands look. One thing Disney does better than anyone else in the theme/amusement park business is details. Pay attention to them! Notice how everything in Liberty Square is done in the old colonial style, and then watch the gradual change to the style of the Wild West as you make your way to Frontierland. And don't leave any of the other lands--or parks--out when paying attention to the details. Disney loves details. It was Walt's attention to detail that set his parks apart from any of the other ones. It's how he was able to make a name for himself.

Okay, I'm getting off on a tangent now, so I'll stop. But next time your at the parks, look at the details, and see what you can learn from a day of playing. :)
